| SHED HUNT Searching for shed deer antlers is a growing pastime for whitetail deer hunters who have learned the use of the family dog can greatly increase the odds of recovering shed antlers. | DOCK JUMPING Dock Jumping is a performance sport in which dogs compete by jumping for distance or height from a dock into a body of water. The dogs are motivated by a toy thrown by the handler or suspended in the air above the water. There are a variety of events offered during dock jumping. | NOSEWORK Dogs are born with a nose for odors. They love to search and locate animals, objects, individuals and other fun smelly stuff by using their nose. Depending on the breed of dog, its sense of smell is estimated to be between 1,000 and 10,000,000 times more sensitive than a human’s. |
